Please read these terms carefully before using RobotTrader.ai
Last updated: January 9, 2025
RobotTrader.ai is an open-source, decentralised software protocol that enables developers to publish algorithmic trading strategies ("robots") and enables users to execute such strategies directly from their own wallets.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to anyone who accesses, uses, or interacts with the RobotTrader.ai protocol, its smart contracts, or community governance systems. By interacting with RobotTrader.ai, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
RobotTrader.ai is software only.
RobotTrader.ai does not:
The protocol is decentralised, open-source, and may be freely used, copied, or forked by anyone.
You remain in full control of your private keys, wallets, and funds.
You are solely responsible for:
By using RobotTrader.ai, you confirm that you are legally permitted to access and use decentralised protocols under the laws applicable to you.
RobotTrader.ai is provided "as is" and "as available."
No warranties or guarantees of any kind are offered, whether express or implied, including:
Use of the protocol is entirely at your own risk.
By using RobotTrader.ai, you understand and accept the following risks (non-exhaustive):
RobotTrader.ai governance is community-driven through the RobotTrader.ai DAO.
Proposals and votes are made using governance tokens.
The DAO is not a legal entity and does not provide financial services; it is a decentralised coordination mechanism.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Independent developers and communities may provide websites, applications, or user interfaces that connect to RobotTrader.ai.
Such third-party services are not controlled by RobotTrader.ai contributors.
You must review and agree to any terms and policies provided by those third parties.
The RobotTrader.ai protocol code is licensed under the MIT License.
Documentation is licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0.
You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code under the terms of these licences.
Because RobotTrader.ai is decentralised software, there is no central authority that can suspend or terminate your access. You may cease using the protocol at any time by discontinuing interaction with its smart contracts.
These Terms are published for informational purposes only. As RobotTrader.ai is not operated by a centralised entity, no single governing law applies. Your use of the protocol may be subject to the laws of your own jurisdiction, and it is your responsibility to comply with them.
These Terms may evolve through community governance. Updates will be proposed and voted on through the RobotTrader.ai DAO and published in the official repositories.
All legal requests, comments, and other communications relating to the project should be directed to legal@robottrader.ai.
